Villa Loikola
Villa Loikola is located on the shore of Simpelejärvi in Parikkala in the region of South Karelia. Loikola is a perfect place to have a break from hectic life and enjoy the beauty of nature in lovely and peaceful surroundings. The lake has beautiful landscapes and it’s well known for its unique birdlife. The lake shore has a natural sand bottom and it's a child friendly shore with its gently sloping ground.About the Villa
The villa itself has a 98m2 floor area in two floors. It has a master bedroom for two downstairs and another four beds are located upstairs. There is also a convertible sofa bed for two in the living room and a baby cot. The villa has electric heating with an under-floor heating downstairs. There is a heat storing fireplace in the living room and a heat storing stove in the sauna. Sauna’s stove is always on and it’s ready for bathers to enjoy without any preheating. For cooking, besides of the well equipped kitchen, there is a grill-hut, a gas operated barbeque grill and also a smoking box for smoking fishes. There is a volleyball net on the yard and a lot of sporting equipment to play with and also a few bicycles for your use. There is a rowboat, two canoes and life vests in many sizes, including children. There are two motors for the rowboat to choose from, a gasoline operated and an electric one. We do not charge anything extra for using these goods. Loikola also has free Wi-Fi.Reservations and Pricing

Angling with a hook and line, ice-fishing and herring fishing with a rig are free of charge in Finland. There is some equipment for your use at the villa for angling and ice-fishing. For lure fishing you need to pay a national fisheries management fee. You can get the license from the governmental webshop, but easiest way for you is to let us get your licenses ready before your arrival. The fisheries management fee is personal and it entitles you to lure fish using one rod, reel and lure. Young people (under age 18) and the elderly (over 65) can fish with one rod, reel and lure without paying any fees. More information about fishing in Finland you can find from ahven.net site. Fishes in the lake Simpelejärvi are pike, perch, pike-perch, vendace, common roach, common whitefish, graylin, brown trout, bream, ide, bleak, tench, common carp, crucian carp, ruffe and burbot.Services, Attractions and Miscellaneous Links
